I took the day off from work for Sandy’s birthday and we hiked the Al Foster Trail in Eureka, Missouri. Weather was a little cool and it was overcast, on the verge of rain. Perfect weather for a hike.
This was our first time on this trail and it turned out to be pretty nice. Not too hilly and it followed the Meramec river which gave us some nice views. And wide enough that we felt fairly safe when passing, or being passed by, other people.
On the way home we picked up some TexMex and a couple of margaritas from Nachomama’s.
Overall it was a nice day, but we will be really happy when this COVID-19 virus is manageable and we can all get out again with friends and family.
